's Jared Padalecki talking with press at Comic Con 2010 about Supernatural
Season 6 and more!
We'll post more if they surface! But until then - here's the only one we can find! :-)
Special thanks to LMCullen!
Jared Padalecki and former 'Supernatural' co-star Genevieve Cortese got hitched over the weekend in her hometown of Sun Valley Idaho! Jared's older brother Jeffrey was the best man, but he didn't forget his 'Supernatural' brother either - Jensen Ackles was present as a groomsman.
SupernaturalSeries.Com sends their best wishes for the newly weds! They sure make one beautiful couple!
According to a report from Just Jared, Supernatural and Friday the 13th star Jared Padalecki is one of three finalists to possibly take on the role of Conan in a remake of the original film. Kellan Lutz (Twilight Saga) and Jason Momoa (Stargate: Atlantis, Baywatch) are the other two actors in the running.
A decision is likely to be made soon as the start of shooting is scheduled for March 15th 2010.
Supernatural creator Eric Kripke is yet to confirm whether a sixth season of his hit show Supernatural (also starring Jensen Ackles) will be made, or whether the show will finish as was originally planned, in itís fifth season, which is airing now on CW in the US.
Marcus Nispel will direct the Conan reboot, who previously worked with Jared on the recent Friday the 13th remake.
Sorry, Sam girls.
Reps for Jared Padalecki confirm to us exclusively that the rumors are true, and he is engaged to marry former Supernatural costar Genevieve Cortese.
Padalecki plays Sam Winchester on the CW's cult-hit series about a pair of demon-hunting brothers on a destiny run; Cortese appeared on the fourth season of the series as the second embodiment of the comely but eeeevil demon Ruby. (Melrose Place star Katie Cassidy played Ruby's first iteration.)
The couple, whose characters shared some superhot sex scenes and a dysfunctional but intense relationship during their time together on the show, have been dating very, very stealthily.
In the intense universe of fandom surrounding Supernatural - the CW series that follows the chisel-jawed Winchester brothers as they drive around the country snuffing out demons - there are ''Sam girls'' and ''Dean girls.'' Websites chronicle every scrap of minutiae (including the fellas' sweet ride, a '67 Chevy Impala), and bloggers dig around casting directors' sites looking for snippets of scenes to post online (they've even managed to spoil entire scripts). There's also a unique and very creepy subset of romantic fan fiction dedicated to siblings Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) called ''Wincest'' - the less said about it the better. One creative fan actually showed up on set in an orange vest, pretending to be a production assistant. ''They gave her a walkie-talkie!'' recalls Ackles. ''She worked the entire day there until somebody finally figured it out. Obviously now they've stepped up the protocol.'' Meaning, the stars have a bodyguard when they're working. Says Padalecki, ''I guess the network or the studio said, 'We [only] have two guys on this show. We'd better protect them.'''
